“H2020 Energy Research Virtual Info Day on 20 September 2016”

We would like to invite you to the H2020 Energy Virtual Info Day that will take place on 20 September 2016. Please register  for the event.

The info day addresses potential applicants to the calls for project proposals under 2016-2017 Horizon 2020 Work programme ‘Secure, clean and efficient energy’.

Presentations will cover:

  • – The work programme topics that will open for submission in 2016, in particular the novelties and changes in the updated work programme
  • – The submission and evaluation process
  • – Best practice from successful applicants

Participants will follow the event via web streaming and will be able to ask questions before and during the event via e-mail and on Twitter (#H2020Energy). “WEBINAR- Horizon 2020 Inducement Prizes in the area of Energy-REGISTER NOW”

We are glad to announce the next C-Energy2020 webinar on:

“Horizon 2020 Inducement Prizes in the area of Energy” by Karina Firkaviciuté (Policy Officer in Unit G1 – Strategy) and Philippe Schild (Senior Expert in Unit G3 – Renewable energy research), on Wednesday 07th  September 2016, 11:00-12:00 (Brussels time) hosted by Luxinnovation, Luxembourg.

Training Objectives

This webinar will address the Energy Horizon Prizes in Horizon 2020. These prizes will reward innovative approaches to integrating solar energy into historical buildings, using renewable energy in hospitals, and developing products that help cut emissions by reusing carbon dioxide (CO2). They will encourage innovations and finding solutions in the areas of great importance to European citizens, culture and health, and by this contribute to one of the key challenges of Energy Union, which is to put citizens at its core. Their worth in total is ?3.25 million and they are funded under Horizon 2020, the EU’s research and innovation programme scheme.

Karina Firkaviciuté (Policy Officer in Unit G1 – Strategy) will give a general presentation on the prizes and Philippe Schild (Senior Expert in Unit G3 – Renewable energy research) will talk about the rules and the application process, Then a Q&A part will follow.

“Coordinators’ day” for coordinators of successful proposals – 23 September 2016 – 9.30-17.00″

On 23 September 2016 the Commission will organise a “coordinators’ day” for coordinators of successful proposals. The purpose of the event is to explain the details on the preparation and signature of grant agreements. It will take place in the Conference Centre Albert Borschette building in Brussels from 9.30 to 17.00. It is mainly meant for coordinators of proposals who were invited to prepare a grant agreement, but other participants are also welcome subject to the availability of seats.

Registration (first-come first-served, priority for persons representing coordinators of successful proposals) is via the following website: https://ec.europa.eu/digital-single-market/events/cf/coordinators-day-gap/register.cfm. The agenda is also available there. It will also be possible to follow the event online here (no need to register).
