TRB Webinar: Specifying and Measuring Asphalt Density to Ensure Pavement Performance

TRB will conduct a webinar on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM ET that features research from the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP)’s Research Report 856: Specifying and Measuring Asphalt Pavement Density to Ensure Pavement Performance.

The in-place density of asphalt mixtures is the single most important property of the asphalt mixture in the pavement. This webinar will examine the current agency practices used to measure and specify the in-place density of asphalt pavements. Presenters will explore guiding principles to select measurement methods and requirements for in-place density. They will also identify the specific knowledge gaps in order to establish more comprehensive density standards.

Some registrants will need to pay $95 to attend this webinar.  Sign into MyTRB.org to view registration information.
