Webinar gratuito el 1 de junio “Austroads Road Asset Data Standard”

Austroads’ Australasian Data Standard for Roads seeks to harmonise transport information across road agencies and local government in Australia and New Zealand. The project aims to maximise the contribution that roads and related infrastructure make to the economy by improving the effectiveness of asset management and investment activities.

In 2016, Austroads released the Data Standard for Road Management and Investment in Australia and New Zealand: Draft 1 Version 2. Austroads is now revising the Standard and plans to publish a second version designed for national implementation in 2017. The 2017 version will contain additional data fields and be supported with an implementation plan and business case.

The Data Standard for Road Management and Investment provides road agencies and their suppliers, in Australia and New Zealand, with a specification for the data that supports common operational activities.

Webinar attendees will gain an understanding of:

  • how the Austroads Data Standard is designed, the data definitions it contains, and the multiple ways it can be used
  • how harmonised data sets are being used to promote benefits at the local and national levels through case studies
  • the plans to support data standard adoption through a range of tools and data collaboration ventures.

No charge, but registration is essential.
