History Highlights: The Transit Cooperative Research Program
By cooperative agreement signed on May 13, 1992, FTA sponsors the Transit Cooperative Research Pr and the American Public Transportation Association Transit Development Corporation created the TCRP Oversight and Project Selection Committee. Over the first 25 years, TCRP has published some 200 research reports and an additional 130 Synthesis of Transit Practice reports. As part of the Centennial Celebration, TRB has initiated the History Highlights series that will regularly release stories that highlight the events and people that helped shape TRB during the last 100 years.
