Max Lay Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient 2020

The University of Melbourne’s Dr Peter Sweatman has been recognised for his leading role in the advancement of Australian transport technology, receiving Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Australia’s highest honour, the Max Lay Lifetime Achievement Award. The globally recognised award celebrates the achievements of leaders in the transport industry and ITS.

A fifteen-person judging panel determines finalists for the ITS Australia National Awards, made up of intelligent transport systems professionals representing industry, government, and academia. The awards will be held in an online ceremony on Thursday 26 November 2020 when winners will be announced.
